Q: Do I need to buy breakers separately?
Yes - breakers are not included. Buy Square D QO/QOB plug-in types based on your circuit loads.
Q: Is there a main breaker inside?
Most models are Main Lug Only (MLO). You'll need to install a 2-pole main breaker in the top slots OR rely on a main disconnect at the meter. Check local code.
Q: Can I mix copper and aluminum wire?
Yes - if terminals are rated AL/CU. Always use anti-oxidant paste for aluminum connections.
Q: How do I know which size to pick?
Count your current circuits + add 20% for future growth. Example: If you have 8 circuits now, go for QOL12 or QOL16.
