A: The DIN rail is fixed to raised stand-offs inside the chassis. While it is not designed to be removed routinely, it can be unscrewed if necessary to pre-populate devices on a bench before final installation.

Q3: Will a standard RCBO fit without the door bulging?

A: Yes. The 108 mm depth and raised DIN rail provide adequate clearance for standard single-module and double-module RCBOs commonly sold in the UK market. The door closes flush when correctly installed.

Q4: Can I replace a breaker without isolating the entire board?

A: No. Safe working practice requires the main switch to be turned off before removing or inserting any device. Live busbars are exposed when a breaker is withdrawn, so full isolation is essential.
